So Jun 11th is my 8th grade graduation. I was thinking about this today, and i have no idea what to say. I want to like thank my teachers, perhaps saya few funny stories, and include my best friend. I have no idea how to include all of this. It is supposed to be between 3-5 minutes. Does anyone have suggestions or maybe an example of a speech? Im really bad at writing speeches.

I am a teacher who has been asked to give a speech on behalf of the staff to the Year 12 students who are leaving in a couple of weeks time. I have been asked as I am also leaving the school and these kids were in my Home Group when they started at the school in Year 8.

In the past it has been a light-hearted/funny kind of speech, but still with a good graduating message. I had an idea about using scenes from movies and lines from songs that were popular in the year they were in year 8 (2004) but i’m not convinced. I really want to give them a good speech that will give them some good memories.

Anyone got any ideas??

There are two valevictorians and I’m one. I am speaking with the other valevictorian and we want to do a speech together. We’re having a hard time coming up with what to say…we want it to be funny.
