Nothing is quite as pathetic as someone who isn’t funny trying to be funny. You might have your speech point out the reasons why you should be the secretary instead of trying to be something you’re not. You’d **** it if the clown won because he was being who he is, and they voted for him because they thought you were a clown, too. Stand up straight, smile, and be confident. They will see you for who you are.
