Corey asked:
Public speaking is not my best skill. Any advice on how to give a good speech. I want it to a little funny, but sincere. Anyone with some experience in this dept?
Thanks Cam, I’ll keep that in mind.

Try not to over think it. Just relax. Think of a funny experience you remember of how they met, and tell it. Then say congratulations, and etc.

“To the luckiest man in the world, and to the woman who made him that way.”
“May your children always be blessed with healthy, wealthy, and happy parents.”
Keep it short if you get nervous easily. You could also go from the heart and end it with one of the toasts from above. Good luck!

Being funny is alway’s good. Thank him for picking the best man ever or something. Make sure its well planned before the day of so you don’t freeze. And don’t put so much pressure on yourself, they love it no matter what. trust me i thought i screwed my brothers wedding up but i turned out fine

Seems you’re looking for advice, the easiest way would be to buy some advice. There’s loads of books you can buy at amazon, and web sites peddling their wares. I’d check out WriteYourOwnWeddingSpeech.com

Hi,
First remember that no one ever complains becasue a speech is too short!
In order to over come any anxiety you might have about speaking just practise yuor speech out loud as many times as you can before the day. The more familiar you are with it, the more it becomes part of you. Don’t try to be some one else. If you’re not naturally a funny speaker don’t try to turn into one for the day.
When you do give your speech remember to speak slowly and to open your mouth - sounds obvious but not everyone does it. A lot more help can be found on the page below.
